Buying groceries based off of pregnancy cravings and seeing the judgmental and quizzical expression upon the face of the cashier as you're checking out. // Weaseling through pregnancy without purchasing any real maternity clothing aside from maternity leggings (it's like a challenge-- how long can I go before I give in and buy maternity items?). // We bought a fridge on Labor Day. Are we big kids yet? // When we bought our fridge, there was a little old man hanging out at the front of the Home Depot who stopped us in our tracks just to talk to us about my baby bump. "What are ya havin'?" he inquired, pointing directly at my belly button. I looked down, placed both hands lovingly upon my belly and responded, "It's a girl!" His response: "Right answer!" and without another word, he reached into his pocket, pulled out a button with a smiley face on it and pinned it to my backpack. // I bought a carseat for half-off this morning. It was a killer deal too! So check that off of my list of things to do before baby comes (now I just have a million more things to accomplish before I'll feel adequately prepared...ish). // The fact that all of the stores are stocking up on autumn + halloween themed everything. // Those sweet, sleepy cuddles Taylor gives in bed every morning before he heads to work. // The new book I'm reading (and will likely finish within a day of starting). // The thought of Tay and I actually being parents... LOL!! // Holding our tiny freshly-birthed nephew and getting excited for our OWN BABY. // Que Bueno nacho cheese from Costco (you're welcome, nacho lovers). // The fact that Taylor enjoys watching the drama of bachelor in paradise probably more than I do. // Life is just really, really good right now (but it will get even better once we finally get to move into our own place officially)!

  1. I got really excited when I saw the photo of your nephew because I thought it was your daughter! LOL. I only got maternity leggings for my whole pregnancy, so I can say that it is 100% possible to not buy anything else. Loose jumpers and baggy shirts are the real MVPs ;)

    1. Don't worry, the photo of my nephew tricked a LOT of people into thinking I had my baby! haha I clearly didn't think that one through too well. I'm glad to hear that it's possible to survive only buying maternity leggings! That's honestly my game-plan and I don't really plan on veering away from it.
