So, we adopted a puppy. His name is Kingsley and he's a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel. (Has anyone seen the movie Age of Adeline? The main character in that movie has the same type of dog. That's a great movie, by the way. I'd definitely recommend it if you haven't seen it yet.) We've been his parents for two whole days now and I literally can't put into words how much we love this little dude. Taylor's childhood dream was to have a puppy of his own so it's been a lot of fun to watch the two of them playing together. They're absolutely adorable.
Fun facts about little Kingsley:
*He is a cuddler. It's probably his favorite past-time, actually. He loves being around people and he could sit in your lap for hours without moving once and be perfectly content like that.
*He was born with three other puppies-- and he was the one that always ended up on the bottom of the doggy pile and patiently endured their biting antics. (Seriously, he'd just lay there while they bit his ears and feet and tail.)
*He's already so good with potty training and he's still so little! He's very considerate of our new home and doesn't want to make a mess of things. We're obviously very grateful for his manners.
*He doesn't like being alone... even for a few minutes. So when I get ready in the morning he's happy to follow me around the house as I go through my morning routine. I don't mind it though, I find it incredibly entertaining.
*He's my study buddy. He just sits on my lap while I do homework and he makes the whole homework thing so much more bearable.
Anywho, we love our little pup. He's a wonderful addition to our little family. And we can't get enough of that cute little face! Puppy for the win.
